Built and operated by Sathi Systems The playable homepage scene (https://sathi.ai/#day) is a scripted, synthetic illustration: ask the bedside speaker for a 06:00 alarm, stop it in the morning, then receive a phone notification of a 40-minute flight delay, leaving time for breakfast. The speaker has no display; only Sathi’s spoken reply streams in captions. No real account, microphone, camera or message access. Guest chat is a separate, deliberately memoryless way to try conversation. Each distinguishes intended experience, current behavior/provider, remaining work and last-checked date. Self-hosting suitable open models is a direction, not a claim that all external processing disappears. Receipts do not establish that every backup/downstream copy is gone. For the site's own shape, the five doors are listed below. The three names, stated once: - Sathi — the product: a connected ecosystem for home, work and everyday life (https://sathi.ai). - Sathi Systems — the company that builds and operates Sathi (https://sathi.systems). - Altruistic — a working scratchpad asking what altruism means, exploring intelligence, cooperation and systems (https://altruistic.ai). The framework and reusable code are not released; durable parts will be distilled and opened only after saturation in Sathi and repeated safety review. Access today: signups are open for the near term — a testing-and-feedback window anyone may join at https://sathi.ai (the gate is a runtime knob the operator can close when the window ends). Guest chat is open too and requires no account (nothing becomes memory; guest conversations are kept for testing and feedback for as long as an operator setting allows, 30 days by default). The long arc is unchanged: trust opens outward in rings — builder → household → kin → communities → anyone — and each ring earns its opening only when the people in the previous one genuinely prefer Sathi to the incumbents. Sathi is not affiliated with OpenAI or Meta. Provider routes are configurable: relevant context, images, audio and reply text can reach direct APIs or providers through intermediaries such as OpenRouter. Authorization: clear private low-risk requests can run directly; ambiguous private actions receive a separate tool-free sentinel review. Required approvals bind a concrete action and are reused only within that scope. Models cannot lower ownership, recipient, risk, budget or capability floors. Direction, stated as direction (2026-08): heavy multi-step execution is headed to interchangeable agent runtimes — the best engine chosen per task, running inside Sathi's own identity, permission, and audit layer, upgraded rather than reproduced as engines improve. Engines are replaceable; the relationship is not. Deployment follows the same seam. Current: one Sathi-operated private deployment. Experimental: a home node and open-hardware speaker. Direction: each capability routes to the nearest capable and authorized lane — local → the person's private infrastructure → Sathi infrastructure → an external frontier provider → disabled — with minimum context disclosure. Dedicated and fully independent deployments are a future offering, not available today.
